The Urkesh website was created using mostly in house programs that that produce HTML files from plain ASCII input. We use tables to format the text and page layout so that we can insure compatibility with all HTML browsers. The host and nameserver is directNIC, and has both www.urkesh.com and www.urkesh.org names. The server is housed at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, UCLA, that provides support service. |
